چکیده
Abstract The present research is based on the removal of Brilliant Green (BG) dye from its aqueous solution. Used-tea-powder (UTP) was used as a potential adsorbent to remove BG Pore morphology, surface properties, crystalline nature and thermal stability UTP were assessed by using SEM, FTIR, XRD TGA analysis. optimized working conditions found be pH 6, dose 100 mg, adsorption time 60 min concentration mg L−1. qmax obtained Langmuir model 101.01 g−1 showing utility in removal. breakthrough volume efficiency column evaluated through studies fixed-bed mode. It that pseudo-second-order kinetics followed correlation studies. calculated thermodynamic parameters showed process feasible, exothermic spontaneous.

In this research, the removal of Reactive Red 198 dye (RR-198) by Cuttlefish bone powder was investigated. The adsorbent was prepared in laboratory conditions and ground by ASTM standard sieves (60-100 mesh). The progress of the process is monitored spectrophotometrically by measuring the absorbance of dye at 518 nm wavelength. In addition, the effects of process parameter...

The removal of toxic dye such as malachite green from waste water by adsorption using activated carbons received much interest. However, the success of this approach depends on economic feasibility, which can be obtained by optimization of the environmental conditions. This paper evaluates the use of low cost Calatropis gigantis bark carbon to eliminate malachite green from aqueous solutions. T...

Electrocoagulation (EC) in a batch cell with Al anode and Fe cathode in monopolar parallel (MP) connection was used for the removal of basic dye, Bromophenol Blue (BPB). The effects of current density, pH, temperature and initial dye concentration, on the process were investigated. Equlibrium data were analyzed using four model equations: Langmuir, Freudlinch, Temkin and Dubinin–Radushkevich. D...
